Hello all,
im a IGNOU MCA student my first semester already finished and now im preparing for 2nd semester exam but my enrollment number still did not match on "Register E-mail ID(IGNOU Students only)" even egyankosh what is the problem? please anybody could you explain it. I thought database update may take few month but 7 month passed its still not accepting my enrollment number. please let me know about it. Thank you your sincerly BK Eissam |

As far as eGyanKosh's Enrolment Number matching is concerned then now in eGyanKosh No enrolment number verification is required and even no more activation requirements.

No use of registering online. Programs are missing from the list, and God knows what else! Anyhow, there is no use of registering your email id as everyone here says that they have received nothing on their email id when they registered through that form. |

BK Eissam It happened with me and I could get the reason and resolution very late. It happened only when I went to the exam centre and was not allowed to sit for the paper (my first paper). The elderly center superintendent was kind enough to help me to coordinate with the dy registrar SR&E and I could appear for the exam. Problem was: RC said they had sent the student data to SR and SR said they did not receive any Please see if you have a similar case. Now if not ...!!! 1. Please check with SR&E IGNOU Maidan Garhi about your registration details 2. The reregistration or first registration takes a lot of time please check if you have any communication from Maidan Garhi (Not RC) 3. If you have received course material it is likely that your registration is reflecting at SR&E 4. Please check if you are able to log in to SWISS at ignou website (if yes your number is registered) and shall take some time to reflect. Lets not worry much about IGNOU initiated mails, since they may not be able to manage a server handling 20 lac active students mails (though I assume they are just trying to improve the electronic initiatives) Keep posting the developments. It helps others to get a perspective. |

It helps others to get a perspective. SWISS is temporarily inactive, I think. And I guess not all programs are reflected there. Don't know when SWISS would be back up? My details are showing fine on admission status though
