Please follow the following steps. I hope that you are having a full time internet connection (i.e a ADSL/Broadband Internet Connection which is always ON). This type of connection is required so that you can update the virus definitions. If that is the case then you have to manually go to the symantec's website and download the antivirus updates. Send me Personal Messsage to let u know how to do that.
Step 1 : Well first step for you is to download a nice, Licensed, Never getting expire version of Anti virus on your PC. Unfortunately as your PC might be infected so there are chances that installation of this might be a failure as generally an already resident virus in a system's memory blocks the installation of any anti virus programs. Still Just keep fingers crossed and follow the steps mentioned below
Step 2 : If you have successfully downloaded the file above then its time for you to unzip it. Unfortunately Windows's Default ZIP doesn't supports unzipping it. So ... Download the winrar http://www.rarlabs.com/rar/wrar38b2.exe and use this software to Extract the files out of the above compressed file in an appropriate folder. Step 3:
